The "double yellow dot": This is the quintessential ball for all international competitions. It is a super slow ball, which takes longer to "warm up" to achieve significant bounce.
NB: The ball is marked with a single yellow dot; however, it is indeed a Double Yellow Dot. Dunlop explains that at the time squash balls were based on a different concept, and they all had only one yellow dot because the Comp was created afterwards.
When the Comp was created, it was necessary to change the dot system. It was decided not to change the white ball because we have no competitors using it, and it is only used by professionals.
So in fact, it is indeed a Pro double yellow dot ball, but without the double yellow dot!
