The Fukuda Tour Nanostrike Hybrid badminton string is a hybrid string with two different gauge sizes.
The 0.66 mm gauge (red string) is used for the mains; the 0.63 mm gauge (white string) is used for the crosses.

This "hybrid" concept allows you to better "sharpen" your smashes (they drop closer to the net) and gives you optimum precision for touch shots.
The 0.66 mm gauge, being thicker, is placed in the mains because it is often the mains that break during off-centre hits. With the thicker gauge in the mains, you get a great balance between durability and feel thanks to this new concept.
The 0.63 mm gauge, being finer, provides more power and explosiveness in the shuttle strike.
This string requires mandatory installation with 4 knots.
