The Yonex indoor badminton shoe SHB AERUS Z2 is Yonex’s lightest shoe, with significant improvements in comfort and durability compared to version 3, while maintaining its extreme lightness (240g) and greater flexibility. It makes no compromises on cushioning and foot support, offering the player: lightness, stability, and a precise fit.
Badminton continues to become an increasingly fast-paced game, and players need shoes adapted to meet the demands of more intense footwork. The Power Cushion+ is designed to absorb the impact of play without slowing down movement speed. It provides 28% more cushioning compared to the classic Power Cushion.
The new Aerus Z2 offers even more lightness thanks to the new Feather Light X material, used throughout the construction of the midsole, which is 30% lighter than traditional EVA foam.
The Yonex shoe is equipped with the Synchro-Fit Insole construction, which ensures an optimal fit of the foot inside the shoe for greater comfort and performance. This allows a closer fit between the shoe and the foot, minimising power loss for smoother movements and faster footwork. By holding the heel more firmly against the insole, the gap between the shoe and the foot is reduced, improving comfort and ensuring the foot does not slip forward inside the shoe.
The highly durable rubber sole will extend the shoe’s lifespan. It also provides better grip on the floor (Hexagrip). For agile and stable footwork, the hexagrip pattern offers 3% more grip and 20% more lightness than standard sole material. The outsole features Radial Blade technology, which provides better ground grip so you have stable footing with every movement.
The Round Sole technology in the sole is designed to provide support all around the sole for quick and smooth movement.
Made from 100% recycled polyester Double Raschel Mesh combined with Durable Skin Light. The seamless design of the upper offers excellent breathability, very good comfort, and greater lightness.
Under the centre of the foot, on the sole, as well as on the sides, the 3D Power Graphite provides significant reinforcement to reduce shoe torsion.
It also naturally features the Power Graphite Sheet for optimal cushioning and the Synchro Fit which improves contact between the sole of the foot and the insole to avoid energy loss during movement.
