Viktor Axelsen is one of the rising stars in badminton. He won the BWF World Junior Championships in 2010, becoming the first European player to claim this title. He made his senior debut the same year, winning the Cyprus International Championship.
In 2014, he achieved a notable victory at the Swiss Open Grand Prix Gold. Furthermore, he proudly holds two bronze medals from the European Championships, and also won his first bronze medal at the BWF World Championships in 2014. In 2016, he became the first European badminton player to win the men’s singles title at the BWF World Superseries Finals.
