The Venson Kriss Sword K2 is a badminton racket recently introduced in the famous Kriss Sword range from the brand. Unlike the high-end XP model which is extremely stiff and heavy-headed, the K2 has been designed as a more accessible, balanced, and manoeuvrable version, perfectly suited to intermediate players and fans of modern, fast doubles play.
With a versatile playing profile, the K2 offers an excellent compromise between smash power and defensive reaction speed.
The medium shaft stiffness provides tolerance and offers a very pleasant natural rebound effect to easily clear the shuttlecock from the backcourt.
Its light weight 4U (around 82g) with a G6 grip size offers a lightweight format that prevents arm fatigue and optimises manoeuvrability in fast net exchanges. Balanced towards the head (around 300 mm), the head weight remains moderate to ensure impact in attack without excessively weighing down the swing.
Thanks to its Kriss Sword Geometry & Low Wind Resistance, the frame carries the sword-shaped profiled DNA unique to the Kriss Sword series. It cuts through the air with minimal resistance, significantly increasing swing speed. A string pattern and frame geometry designed to widen the ideal sweet spot, forgiving off-centre hits more easily.
Constructed with hot-fused carbon combined with Nano Tec resin. This structure improves overall elasticity while reducing unwanted vibrations on impact.
Maximum tension: Supports a tension of 22 to 30 lbs (around 10 to 13.5 kg), demonstrating the usual sturdiness of Venson frames.
