Taking control of the court can take many forms, and for the ARCSABER, it comes from the few extra milliseconds of contact time with the shuttlecock allowing precise and assertive shots.
With nearly 15 years of history featuring remarkable performances by world-class athletes like Taufik Hidayat (INA), the ARCSABER series holds a unique position in the Yonex racket range.
In 2007, when the series was first launched, the ARCSABER 7 arrived at a time when repulsion rackets were the norm.
Today, after years of research and development, shuttlecock control has become a major asset to give players confidence.
The new ARCSABER 11 incorporates the concept of “decisive control” development.
Analysis of the previous model showed potential for improvement by increasing frame stability while extending shuttlecock contact time.
Frame stability is improved with a new rigid frame structure, reducing unwanted twisting and distortion on impact.
The new CONTROL-ASSIST BUMPER is a grommet piece placed at the top of the frame containing T-ANCHOR, micro-sized tetrapods, which help maintain the uprights, thereby reducing unwanted string movement and improving precision.
To extend shuttlecock contact time, the sides of the frame, unlike the top and bottom, are more flexible, allowing flexibility around the sweet spot.
A new technology, the POCKETING BOOSTER, reinforces the top of the frame. This inner lining is an exclusive rubber-like material that adds extra elasticity to the frame’s flex.
Advances in the new model have resulted in a 6.6% increase in shuttlecock contact time and a 3.7% increase in hitting power compared to the previous ARCSABER 11 (tested by Yonex). This power is further multiplied thanks to an additional 10mm length extension, which will increase your hitting power by 5% or more compared to a conventional racket.
