With nearly 15 years of history featuring astonishing performances by world-class athletes such as Taufik Hidayat (INA), the ARCSABER range holds a unique position within Yonex’s racket lineup. In 2007, when the range was launched for the first time, the ARCSABER 7 introduced a new repulsion technology that became its success. Today, after years of research and development, shuttlecock control has become a key ingredient to give an athlete confidence and assurance in game control.

With a medium shaft stiffness, the new Yonex ARCSABER 7 TOUR badminton racket will offer improved playability in shuttlecock play, emphasising optimal control.
Control of the court can take different forms, and for the ARCSABER, it comes from the few extra milliseconds of contact time with the shuttlecock allowing for precise and assertive shots.

The Yonex ARCSABER 7 TOUR racket benefits from the development concept of “decisive control”.
Analysis of the previous model showed potential for improvement by increasing frame stability while extending shuttlecock contact time.

Frame stability is enhanced with a new rigid frame structure, reducing unwanted twisting and distortion on impact.
The new CONTROL-ASSIST BUMPER is a grommet piece placed at the top of the frame that contains T-ANCHOR, micro-sized tetrapods, which help maintain the vertical strings, thereby reducing unwanted string movement and improving precision.

To extend shuttlecock contact time, the sides of the frame, unlike the top and bottom, are more flexible, allowing for flexibility around the sweet spot.
A new technology, the POCKETING BOOSTER, reinforces the top of the frame. This inner lining is an exclusive rubber-like material that adds extra elasticity to the frame’s flex.

Advances in the new model have seen a 6.6% increase in shuttlecock contact time and a 3.7% increase in hitting power compared to the previous ARCSABER 7 (tested by Yonex). This power is further amplified thanks to an additional 10mm length extension which will increase your hitting power by 5% or more compared to a conventional racket.

Technologies:

Developed over 30 years ago, the ISOMETRIC design increases the sweet spot by 7%: Compared to a conventional round frame, a racket equipped with this technology generates a larger sweet spot by optimising the intersection of the vertical and horizontal strings. ISOMETRIC offers better control without sacrificing power.
- Rexis Shaft: revolutionary shaft manufacturing design using high-quality carbon moulding to enhance feel and precision in play.
- Ultra PE Fiber: the shaft is made from ultra-light polyethylene fibre but capable of resisting extreme forces and tensions, allowing better shock absorption.
- Super Slim Shaft: the slimmed shaft considerably reduces air resistance while offering maximum feel.
- Energy Boost Cap Plus: the new cap strength allows the shaft to flex, ensuring the maximum effect of NAMD (more flexible graphite) to increase control while providing great racket stability.
- T-Anchor: A new T-ANCHOR composite material used in the T-joint helps reduce excess torque during off-centre shots.
- Box Frame: The extra rigid profile offers a solid and stable feel at shuttlecock impact.
