Let yourself be seduced by the Yonex Astrox 100 ZZ VA racket! Bearing the image of Danish player Viktor Axelsen and his numerous successes, this limited edition predominantly white racket features green touches for an exceptional final look, combining class and sobriety.
The badminton rackets in this range are equipped with NAMD technology, which allows the nanomaterial to be fixed directly to the graphite fibre so that the shaft can store energy and redistribute it at the moment of impact. This results in ultra-powerful and explosive shots.
The innovative Rotational Generator System was introduced in the ASTROX series and this feature has been improved for the ASTROX 100. A more precise weight distribution on the handle edge, the top of the frame, and the T-joint increases rotational power. These improvements are necessary for faster and more dynamic play!
The counterbalanced weight in the head adapts to each shot and allows you to control your strokes. Moreover, you can attack with more acceleration, a higher contact angle, and extra power when you hit. This power is amplified thanks to an additional 10mm length extension which increases your hitting power by 5% or more compared to a conventional racket.
The ASTROX 100 ZZ racket is equipped with Black Micro Core material on the top of the frame to increase rigidity by 4% and vibration absorption by 2%. The Black Micro Core material increases the weight of the racket head. Additionally, a new T-joint is integrated, which is 1.3% lighter than all other Yonex rackets. By distributing the weight this way, the racket becomes much more powerful!
Manufactured with the thinnest handle in the history of Yonex rackets, this traditionally hollow ASTROX 100 ZZ uses graphite in the core to increase air penetration by 11.8%.
Thanks to the new handle and the new racket shape (the NAMD), you will have more power on your smash and more control on your slower shots. The NAMD significantly improves the adhesion of carbon fibres and resin. Thus, flexibility is increased on smashes where racket speed is very important. The material remains flexible even with increased swing speed; it bends when speed increases and returns to its original shape after the shot. The racket’s ability to bend more and quickly return to its initial shape will allow you to produce powerful shots with increased speed!
Compared to ordinary frames, the ISOMETRIC frame increases your hitting area. The ASTROX 100 frame has therefore been slightly modified into a squarer shape to increase the hitting area by 2.9%. This preserves the overall shape of the frame. The advantage of this isometric shape is to gain in power!
The Astrox 100 racket benefits from a new wider CAP for the thumb to increase energy transfer, ensure more handle flex, and enhance power (Energy Boost Cap Plus).
