Description

Power is the major asset of the YONEX ASTROX range, characterised by a heavy head weight that unlocks raw power. The all-new ASTROX 77 is different – power is effortless and accessible to all.

The ASTROX 77 PLAY, in a limited edition light beige shade, is designed with a softer shaft than the TOUR and a manoeuvrable, slightly heavy head that offers extra power for a wide range of players, from intermediate to advanced levels. This second generation brings improvements in the feel of the strike by enhancing shock absorption, and in power by achieving better balance and more flexibility.

The ASTROX 77 features the Rotational Generator system which allows rapid recovery for a continuous flow of powerful attacks. The racket incorporates Namd in the shaft, producing more flex and faster rebound.

The new ASTROX 77 is an even more advanced version of its predecessor, with new technologies for better performance and a 2.9% increase in smash power. The lower frame is made of a new resin material, Flex Fuse, which combines a shock-absorbing material with the base resin for a softer impact feel.

Power is multiplied thanks to an additional 10mm length extension which will increase your hitting power by 5% or more compared to a conventional racket.

Recommended maximum string tension: 27 Lbs (12.3 kg)

Technologies
  • Aero+box Frame : Combination of 2 frame shapes for a solid feel and a fast swing.
  • Isometric : Increases the sweet spot by 7%: Compared to a conventional round frame, a racket with this technology generates a larger sweet spot by optimizing the intersection of the mains and crosses. ISOMETRIC offers better control without sacrificing power.
  • Rotational Generator System : By applying the counterweight theory, the weight is distributed across the end of the handle, the top of the frame, and the joint for maximum control. The transition to the next plane can be smooth, with rapid succession.
