The ASTROX 77 PRO is designed with a medium handle and a manoeuvrable, slightly heavy head, offering extra power for a wide range of players, from intermediate to advanced level. This second generation brings improvements in hitting feel by enhancing shock absorption, and in power by achieving better balance and more flexibility.
The ASTROX 77 Pro features the Rotational Generator system which allows for quick recovery for a continuous flow of powerful attacks. The racket incorporates Namd in the shaft, producing more flex and faster recovery.
The new ASTROX 77 is an even more advanced version of its predecessor, with new technologies for better performance and a 2.9% increase in smash power. The lower frame is made of a new resin material, Flex Fuse, which combines a shock-absorbing material with the base resin for a softer feel on impact. The new elongated shaft is equipped with Namd, a carbon-graphite material, and the addition of the Energy Boost Cap Plus helps limit twisting.
Thanks to the new shaft and the new construction of the racket (Namd), you have more power in your smashes and more control in your slower shots. In detail, Namd significantly improves the bonding of graphite fibres and resin. Thus, flexibility is greater in smashes where the racket speed is higher. This provides more explosiveness and acceleration during the hit. In drive play, on the contrary, the racket speed is slower: the new shaft provides more control and thus accelerates the racket head.
This power is multiplied thanks to an additional 10mm length extension which will increase your hitting power by 5% or more compared to a conventional racket.
