Designed for the new squash star Mostafa Asal, the SLASH range breaks the mould of traditional “open heart” ergonomic rackets with a new construction that maximises power and an exceptional look.
All rackets in the range are equipped with the revolutionary X-TOP. No bumper, 100% performance, a completely new racket head construction where the bumper has been replaced by a combination of active fibres for maximum durability, speed and playability. The plastic bumper is replaced by a mix of aramid fibres, the most shock-resistant material, and a PTFE treatment that provides smoothness to protect the frame against abrasion from the floor or walls. Without a bumper, the racket becomes much smoother and cuts through the air better for maximum swing speed and power. With plastic replaced by material, there are more fibres in the racket for greater responsiveness and less vibration for enhanced comfort.
Designed for Mostafa and athletic players, the SLASH 120 CONTROL squash racket is geared towards control and precision play.
Extremely light, with a frame weight of 120g, it is the pinnacle of manoeuvrability for maximum swing speed and power.
To balance this, the YOKE CONTROL TECHNOLOGY construction allows mastery of shot power and control of strikes: a round 461 cm² (291 x 199 mm) head for precision and tolerance, a wide open heart with internal reinforcements for greater impact stability, and a slim 261 mm² shaft for maximum control.
The SLASH CONTROL features STABYL Technology, where the “top ring” is replaced by a high-performance fabric: beneath the carbon, a rigid mesh strengthens the handle, providing more stability and therefore greater comfort and manoeuvrability.
Pre-strung with 305 Green, the market reference in squash strings and Tecnifibre’s most elastic string for the best balance of power and comfort.
Such innovation naturally demands an exceptional design. A clean white base with light grey X-TOP for pure elegance. Colour-wise, a bold choice with fluorescent green in a graphic pattern. The TF logo has been “slashed” by Mostafa to integrate into the Tecnifibre lettering and the racket frame.
